Taste of the Danforth is the biggest annual street festival held in the heart of Greektown in Toronto. One weekend every summer, people flock to Danforth Avenue for a taste of great food and entertainment.

Some of the vendors featured at the festival:
We were so sad the quails were sold out by the time we got here.
Honey balls! They’re basically fried dough balls dipped in honey. It was the first time I tried this, and it was delicious!! I don’t have a photo of the food because we inhaled it so fast.
Baklava – a sweet pastry treat
The chicken pierogies were savory and delicious. Pierogies are dumplings usually stuffed with potatoes.
I like that Toronto has these festivals to celebrate the diversity in the city. Looking forward to the next one!
