Taste of the Danforth

Taste of the Danforth is the biggest annual street festival held in the heart of Greektown in Toronto.  One weekend every summer, people flock to Danforth Avenue for a taste of great food and entertainment.

Honey balls! They're basically fried dough balls dipped in honey.  It was the first time I tried this, and it was delicious!!

The chicken perogies were savory and delicious.

The chicken pierogies were savory and delicious.  Pierogies are dumplings usually stuffed with potatoes.

I like that Toronto has these festivals to celebrate the diversity in the city. Looking forward to the next one!
